Think where we would be if he hadn’t missed any games this season.

Might need to sneak a knuckle duster on to his hands to stand a chance against Emery.

Yeh I’m sure Emery probably apologized right after the game ended. Business as usual.

As I said int he match thread, the game had been pretty spicy for 10-15 minutes with some fairly rough tackles flying in so I suspect everyone was a bit on edge. Just takes a simple "you should've kept it in the corner and taken the sting out of the game" to create a bit of a disagreement.

Looked to me like Emery was rightly a bit pissed off about the stupid booking for time-wasting just before he went off.

Nothing to see here. Youri made two mistakes when floating in long balls rather than playing short for the free kick and corner. He should know how Unai wants the game to be managed better than anyone else.

Apologised after running his fists all over him, IMO.

nah I bet their still mates working things out in the heat of battle. And the players all know though that Emery is king. In fact in the interview after the game Unai calls Youri his son. Just tough love.

Tielemans ran the game for 60 mins, Asensio never got near him. Bogarde did the bits and bobs and Youri pulled them apart like pulled pork. One of his best displays for us, magnificent.

I think the opposition manager is the chap who made him Belgium captain.

He owed us a big one after his non appearance v Everton.
