Not long got in after being out after the game at Villa Park.  No real point going over the game in too much detail as we did what we had to do and that really is all that matters.

It was a pretty nervous ending though, especially as Brighton went up a level as soon as they brought on their usual starters.  The atmosphere was great though and the scenes on the final whistle were brilliant.

Great performance. After Wolves I was wondering if the last three games of the season would be a damp squib but we've fought and scrapped our way to three great results. What a calendar year this has been. I love Unai.

Well and truly back punching our weight for the first time in a long time.
Very pleased. My lad was born the day before we beat Albion in Play Offs and he is just starting to get a sense of how important Villa is.

Hope to take him to his first match next season.

It was nice to hear DLBIA being blasted out again as well.

I knew Man City B wouldn't be giving us any favours and Leeds fell apart (again); it's one thing to know it's in our own hands but it was a really good performance under pressure.

I haven't heard it that loud in the ground in a long time!

I thought Coote was dreadful, but I guess I could have been biased and influenced by what was at stake.

Didn’t think he was too bad in terms of his actual decisions, but he gave far too many yellow cards to both sides in what wasn’t a dirty match. But who cares?! We gone done it!! Glorious day.

What a day, the whole day, just brilliant.

So proud of the boys and so thankful we have a manager of the highest calibre in charge of this club. Give him the keys to the safe.

Thought it was very unfair on Brighton that their players had to play on roller blades which caused continuous falling over and rolling around. The refereeing performance was beyond abysmal and borderline corrupt.

Time to dust off that passport.

Worst referee of the season, shambolic.

Five years ago this weekend shit was just about to hit the fan after we lost to Fulham at Wembley and it became clear Dr Shitshoes couldn't pay the bills. Administration, winding up orders from revenue and all those fun things soon became hot topics of discussion.

I'd regard myself as pessimistic as anyone when it comes to the Villa, but I never expected to see our name and winding up order in the same sentence.

What a turnaround. Muchos gracias Nas, Wes Edens, Deano, Tyrone Mings, SJM and - ofc - Emery. I'll be charitable enough to say the Manchester City no 10 deserves a fair bit of credit as well. Though I hope Inter crush all their hopes and dreams on June 10th, natch.

7 wins at home, 2 goals conceded, one a dodgy pen and the other looked a bajillion miles offside.

Fuck EVERYBODY else, it's all about the Villa

Thought the ref couldn't get any worse after the Spurs game but the Rent-a-Twat referee agency outdone themselves once more.  Luckily it didn't matter.

Haven't enjoyed a season this much in years.  We've had so many missed opportunities in the 35 years I've been going but this time it feels different.  I honestly think we're on the verge of something big.

Just home after a shit journey on the M5. What an atmosphere, Villa Park you were magnificent.

Jacob Ramsey is going to be better than Joe.
Dougie was magnificent.
Everyone was magnificent.

Thanks Villa.

David Coote has obviously added the big shoes, red nose and collapsible car since Dean Smith suggested he got juggling balls for Christmas a few years ago.

I have never seen as many Villa shirts in the city centre and then as many people outside the ground 1 hour before kick off.
What an atmosphere what a team.

He was all over the place.
