We'll lose this because we're playing again officials as well as Liverpool.

Despite giving us a pen, not giving them one and not sending Mings off? All correct decisions - he’s been fine.

What a first-half performance by Villa.
Emery has correctly played the right hand and let's fully expect a positive outcome.
The only surprise was that Watkins did not convert the penalty.
Some of the football has been fantastic by the team! Absolutely joyous ! Up the Villa!

I'm in the away end right now. Enjoying the performance but not God save the king and Eng-er-land chants

Yeah, that sounds pretty unpleasant.

These fuckers + the ref and var will definitely try to even it up in the second half.
It’s just not on to go and spoil the scouse party is it…

The only surprise was that Watkins did not convert the penalty.
It was no surprise, you could see he was not 100% confident as he prepared to place the ball.

The most annoying commentary I've ever heard in my entire life.  You'd think we'd been under siege for 52 minutes, whereas we've played all the best football and are deservedly ahead - if it were another it wouldn't flatter us.  They will get a penalty / Mings sent off second half, guaranteed.  We can win this.  C'mon Villa!

Same feed as me then.  Thought I'd subscribed to LFC TV.

Kamara make us so much better, both he and McGinn are doing great. Mings is monumental at the back. Emery has picked his best side for this game but agree with remey I think it was, we need someone who can take a pen.

Yeah it just felt like he wasn't going to score that, rewind to a few weeks ago and it would have been in.

One way of fucking up the officials' and Liverpool's attempts to snaffle the points would be to play the type of association football that leads to another goal or two for us.

How many times have Fabiano and Henderson just gone around flying into McGinn when he's been running into their half.

Henderson foul was the most obvious tactical foul yellow card you can see and he just thinks a free kick is enough there?!

Considering how slow Liverpool are in CM out of possession things like that do have an impact on game.
