Looks like this might be the new shirt. It’s ok I suppose.

Don't reckon it is. You can see the Photoshop cursor in the image for a start.
No, I think it is the "Villa Cross" as a nod to our 150th anniversary celebrations.

If we're going to have the cross then it needs to be directly above 'A bou'.

Nothing to do with our kits but not really deserving of a new thread, I noticed in the ManU V Arsenal game yesterday that the Arsenal Zebra/Isobar or OS contour map kit that sweat built up on the back of players. The front appeared wicked but I'm not sure. As we are with Adidas next season thought I'd mention this observation. That aside, I quite like that Arsenal away kit, it's iconic and very different. I do realise I might be in a minority of one with that statement.

The shitter the team, the more energetic you need the kit to be. That's what I took from Arsenal last night.

I don't like the crest & the yellow adidas logo on light blue looks shite & completely lost, but I am loving these teaser adverts.

I criticise Heck a lot, & don't get me wrong, the c*** deserves everything I have said so far, but credit where it is due, this is an excellent teaser campaign so far...

Yeah, you'd think a claret Adidas logo would show up more and look more on brand as Aston Villa amongst the general public.

It's almost as if we are going to market it generally rather than to the same section of fans who would be going and looking for it regardless.

It fucks me off when I see a billboard near Villa Park with Son on it advertising Sky Sports Premier League coverage. It would be nice to start seeing Villa marketing all round Birmingham.

Yeah, I have never understood why Villa don't market more around Birmingham.

Shows how poor the contrast is with yellow on light blue. How much better would it look as claret.

I get that now the Lion is yellow again, the Adidas logo is yellow to take the place of the lion in the badge. Who knows, there may be some animation on stuff to show the two swapping over or something.

I think two colours would also look too plain and simple, maybe.

It's not exactly a tease is it? More like an actual announcement in of itself.

It's quite amusing to think of the reaction of our 'rivals' flicking through the paper and seeing that ad.

For years we've probably been selling shirts to the same people year after year. It's great to see them targeting the wider market and potential fans.
