Blue sleeves?

Wrong shade of blue. :(

I would of thought the shade of blue on the badge would be the same for the sleeves?

It could be just the pic itself, the way it transitions from light and dark areas. Let's see when it's more official.

Blue sleeves?
I'm not sure why the constant snippets and teasers.
Why not just announce the thing, its not like fans will be more inclined to buy it because they have been 'teased'....they will buy it anyway

Where is this image from?

The snippets and teasers are because they are now actively trying to market the club, rather than just dump the shirt on sale and have the same old people buy it.

It's not going to matter to people like us who are looking for it all the time and discussing it, but it will help get the attention of and sell it to people who aren't as engaged as us.

For the first time since 2007/8, I shall buy a shirt for me.

It's from a marketing/ branding article, not from the club.

A "teaser campaign" is part of modern branding.

It's about building interest & excitement to a brand.

Its the only positive thing that Heck has done with our whole crest debacle...

And that wasn't its aim, as teaser was done for the adidas partnership announcement, but they snuck in the crest update too.

The image would be a brand asset released from the club to the interviewer for release by a certain date.

As is shown on the image, its source is "Aston Villa".

There is an image released in an emailer with the shit Heck crest within the adidas partnership announcement that is part of the same campaign. I have screenshotted it below.

You would think so, but let's wait and see when the shirt is unveiled.

That curve is very similar to Arsenal's bottle-shaped new look. But they can't have given us the same template.
Why not? We’re using the same materials to make the shirts so why wouldn’t they use the same non-exclusive design template?

Must be worth more than £20m a year as well if it's our biggest sponsorship deal.

I wish they'd hurry up; we've got teams of body painters waiting on standby for the design in Ghana and Gambia.

I think it was that one when someone asked why take a photo of the screen, why not just do a screenshot. And the answer is probably because social media's algorithm is designed to circulate photos better than screenshots.

That screenshot doesn't match the snippet released by the marketing company.  If you look at the blue on the marketing shot there's a seam in it, so the blue covers two panels at least, unlike that screenshot where the blue is a single panel.
