Huffed and puffed and ultimately second half has been shit. No fucking quality or composure in the penalty area

Turns out we still need better players after all.

You would think the players understand that their jobs aren’t safe now that Villa have appointed one of the top Sporting Directors in Europe. To go out and play like this, unacceptable.

Really poor, incredibly frustrating. Leaving Donk out for Bert was an odd choice today. They are a big side and outmuscled our midgets.

Have we been found out?

I think Emery has squeezed every last drop out of this group.

No Europe for us.

Comprehensively blown it.

We play Spurs next week, but yeh it’s looking more and more like we’ve blown it

Blown what exactly? Nobody thought we’d be anywhere near where we are now and the fact we’ve just fallen at the final hurdle is not blowing it to me

Europe isn’t over but looking increasingly unlikely. It will likely all be decided next weekend vs Spurs

Big Jon on. Buendia fucked off he’s coming off

To run around a bit and get booked.
Let's get behind him eh?

Don’t be stupid AlexAlex

Yeah I'm sure hell be devastated when he logs on later.

Can’t quite work out who’s taking the piss out of who here 🤔

I'm not taking the piss out of anyone, he's got energy but very raw and looks a bit hot headed.

That fact I've written that on a forum shouldn't really affect his performance either way.
You were hardly getting behind him were you

Isn't failing to achieve something when you're very near to achieving it, the dictionary definition of 'blowing it'?

We've got a great manager and had a great run up to now but the way this is petering out is very disappointing.  I bet wolves fucking lose again next week. Disappointing. Gutting even.

Simply not good enough in the final third.

Looks like a case of we put everything into that Newcastle game and well has dried up since.

Have to say aswell was Atwell's watch on fast forward?! Barely any player in that second half and 2-injuries and all he gives is 3 minutes! Probably weren't going to score if there were 30 but that little stoppage time was a disgrace.
