There are no circumstances in which half and half scarves are not an abomination to anyone who supports a particular club. In my view God should bring His smiting up to date.

In my experiences they’re worn mainly by away supporters trying to mingle. I once said to one such person that his H&H scarf was not a cloak of invisibility.

Do you go to many Quidditch games?

Close but no cigar on the injury front. https://twitter.com/AVFCOfficial/status/1651934293323665408

Hopefully they're all ready for the final four.

Bailey will actually for once be a decent miss. Man. United couldn't handle him at all at VP and he also had a good cameo in the cup game.

Main worry for this game is Casemiro will do a job on Buendia and Ollie will be starved of decent chances as he was v Fulham.

I fancy a 1-1 though as Man. United were very leggy/poor last night and they have little recovery time and will mostly put out the same team.

I never have any faith in matches at the Theatre of Cheats.

Villa 2-1 going into the 17th minute of additional time. Fernandes arrives at the back stick for an inevitable leveller, heads it into the side netting and smashes his teeth out colliding with the post.

The post has to be stretchered off to hospital.

The worst kind of half and half scarves are the ones sold outside our own ground where we're labelled as "Aston V."

Someone needs to have a word with those people and tell them to put "Villa" instead if they must peddle their vile merch.

Next level half n half scarves on sale at Leicester away…. ‘Maddison v Coutinho’!? 🤯

3-2 them. We've all seen this before.

There has been at least one comment like this before most games over recent weeks…chelsea need a win, we know how this goes, Bournemouth scrapping for survival…welcome to 3 points at Villa….Newcastle….etc etc.

We might lose tomorrow, the point is, what Emery has been doing with this squad, hasnt been seen before by us down the Villa, at least not in a very very long time.

Their women have already used up their 3-2 last minute winner result for this weekend. Have never felt this confident heading to TTOS, we'll get a result.

As an aside, when MOTD recently did a short montage of 'last minute goals' they managed to include both the Bruce header against Sheff Weds and that Machedo goal. Surprised they didn't try to to get the Hernández one in as well. >:(

Don't mind half-and-half scarves for genuinely weird matches. I grudgingly accept them for commemorative reasons (a Champions League final). That they sell them every game is beyond weird to me.

The only time I thought it was right to sell half-and-half scarves was when England played Ukraine.

That's a good one yeah, no issue.

I had a dream last night that we won 1-0 and Fernandez got sent off.  For balance, I should also add that the dream ended with me taking off in a massive toy aeroplane which then crashed into a hedge.

I'm just getting used to pissing about the back without having a minor heart attack. It's going to take a bit longer for the feeling of "this is all going too well, when are we going to implode" feelings to subside!
