There are no circumstances in which half and half scarves are not an abomination to anyone who supports a particular club. In my view God should bring His smiting up to date.

Sorry,
still got my Athletic Bilbao/Villa H+H scarf from the best away ever in 97
That would be Anderlecht no contest

Was at that too but far less friendly
Never had a problem. Very friendly locals and libations
Friend was wearing his Villa scarf and one of the Anderlecht fans wanted it in the ground,he was tugging one end and the Anderlecht lad tugging the other end, anyway we won the tug of war, but the scarf grow about a extra 4 foot
When I was at the San Siro an Inter fan wanted to swap .I wanted his gold embroidered scarf so I passed my coveted 60s claret & blue heirloom scarf only for him to throw his scraggy beanie hat. The bastardo

Reading Unai’s comments for this one I’m feeling confident.  Gone are the days when we had a manager who feared them and then so did the players.  Even if it goes awry it feels so good to know we don’t fear them any more and that we are not just turning up to be routinely beaten

I think we will FTF tomorrow.

If we get an early goal I think we can keep hitting them on the break and get three or four.

We are going to attack them down the middle. They have two CBS who turn slower than an cruise ship. Look for Ollie to run on to a lot through balls from Buendia, Doug and SJM.

Will Maguire even play? Luke Shaw played centre half the other night with Livelovelaugh

Just checked. He got injured in training. Probably stepped on himself. Luke Shaw at CB doesn’t improve things for them.

9 Bournemouth Lions on our way up by mini bus. A sad day for me as this will be my last travelling with them, as I'm moving over to West Wales. I've known some since the early 80's so it will be strange not travelling to games together.  Although will still meet up at the Villa tavern for home games. Hopefully a great send off  today and Europe next season. UTV

This is the biggest game in football for me, us against them. Beating them therefore, particularly up there, is the best feeling. I’m feeling really confident and think 2-0 to us.

Have a good day Dorset, sad that it's your last day travelling with your mates but hopefully you get to do the same from wherever you're moving to.

I'm not feeling especially confident about today, I don't think we played very well against Fulham or Brentford although we took four points. Watkins was out of sorts in both games and we need him back to his best.

I know what you mean but Brentford are weird and they smashed this lot, and Fulham refused to come at us for 45 minutes which was again weird.

A team that comes at us is what we need, and they looked invitingly vulnerable in defence against Spurs

I know where you are coming from. I can’t work out whether Brentford and Fulham just managed Ollie well, or whether he just looked totally knackered, possibly after sleepless nights with a newborn? We’ll see today perhaps, but we need a goal from him and being the confidence player he is, he doesn’t need to go three without scoring. I think we should be confident going into this, but need to temper it a bit, there in the top 4 for a reason and haven’t lost at home in the league for ages. I’d be happy enough with a draw, over the moon with any kind of win.
