The run will come to an end at some point. We'll need all our players to remain focused for this and not get complacent.

But listening to that press conference how can they not all be absolutely buzzing to continue!

Unai is something else.

It's worth noting that early on in his "shit" season at Arsenal he won 7 games in a row followed by 3 draws, then won 3 and drew one of the four after that. In short, he's used to these long unbeaten runs.

I have this strange unrecognizable feeling
Confidence

2 nil to us without getting of second gear

Just noticed that this game is being shown at 18.30 hrs French time on Canal+. I'll have to switch my phone's data connection off from 16.00 hrs then.

Try scrolling down ‘en direct’. The matches that don’t involve the Big 6 are not openly advertised, but are usually available this way. It’s a disgrace, but less so than with RMC who just didn’t show it at all. Perpetuating the power, laughing in the face of meritocracy. But it will likely be on.

2-2 and Toney is going to miss another pen.

We've had nothing but positive media coverage this week (I didn't watch the Tifo video on account of life being too short). I see this as the herald of the end of our good run, starting tomorrow.

This is the kind of analysis that makes sense to me (unironically, I absolutely agree this is what will happen).

Yep that’s my fear.

Yes, me too. It's a mixture of confidence and looking at the table and wondering how all this will play out. Like Emery has said, we could just as easily lose the next two as well as win them and we have to be prepared for when that happens because we will have a game where we don't click, it's enevitable. Let's hope it's not yet though.

I thought we might come unstuck against the barcodes so I'll go with relentless pessimism again.

Just reposting this in case fate is getting any funny ideas about me being hubristic.

Still nervous.

I'm suddenly running out of grounds I've never seen us win at. Here's to another tick today.

You should get good odds on that.

7 Bournemouth Lions on our way to Brentford. Busy day in London with the London Marathon tomorrow. Let's break this Brentford away curse. I've been to all 4 away games and each time a depressing defeat.UTV
