My negative Villa head suggests we could slip up here. Although if we get near the levels of last week we’ll win.

Hopefully Ben Mee won’t continue his tradition of crippling a Villa player the dirty fucker. 2-1 Villa.

The run will come to an end at some point. We'll need all our players to remain focused for this and not get complacent.

But listening to that press conference how can they not all be absolutely buzzing to continue!

Unai is something else.

I think we will enjoy Saturday, but enjoy it by being fucking disciplined.

Much like how I enjoy Berlin dungeons.

I've pencilled us in for a disappointing draw somewhere in the autumn of 2026.

In a strange sort of way, our recent success has brought its own pressure!!

Calm heads are called for.

Unai exudes calmness and yet, determination.

0-2 to the boys in Claret and Blue.

Just noticed that this game is being shown at 18.30 hrs French time on Canal+. I'll have to switch my phone's data connection off from 16.00 hrs then.

The 3-0 draw for Aston Villa over Newcastle was a blow on the table for those from Birmingham.

There's just so much in that first sentence.

Don't we always make these look incredible? (apart from the last time we played them).

Their play is quite different to most which is why they get some joy and surprise teams.

They're not going surprise us and no doubt Unai has spotted a way of turning one of their key strengths against them in some mad way.

A quick look at a Brentford forum reminds me how I fucking hate the fans of these pisspot 'Ooh, look at us in the top flight' / 'relegated after 5 years or so' clubs.

They get ideas above their station so quickly.
