What a performance, that was absolutely outstanding in every way.  We just dominated them, and could have scored 2 or 3 more easily.   Only downside is I wasn't there!

We we're just completely in control, they couldn't lay a glove on us.  We look so well coached, and every player looks so much improved - most must have doubled in value.  A special shoutout for Ollie, who was unplayable today - looked another level.

Looking forward to Southgate saying how close some of these Villa players are to the squad, when he picks Maguire, Callum Wilson and Conor Gallagher.

Got up at 5.30 am in Denver whilst on holiday. What a performance,  every man played his part magnificently. Unai Emery masterclass. I bet no one fancies playing us in this form.

Gosh what do you do with yourself now 😳😃

Drink and masturbate, I think.

Amen brother

There's a drag factor on the 7-2 in that there were no fans there. Taking nothing from that performance at all - I bloody loved it - but there's always the question mark about whether we'd have played the same with thousands of fans watching. Today was a dream day instead of an unreal fantasy.

I'm saying it now Emery has to be one of the top 3 managers in the world. It's one thing being Pep always managing the very best teams/players to win trophies and having immense sums to continuously improve. Quite another to take a rag tag pretty much relegation guaranteed group, low on confidence, belief, morale and in a matter of months make us legitimately CL qualification contenders. It's beyond a miracle that we are watching.

Do you think there is any chance Spurs or Chelsea try to lure him away?

None whatsoever brother

Liverpool were defending champions and 7 flattered them. They'd lost something like 5 league games in the last close to 100 they played iirc. Today was very good, but it wasn't a patch on that.

What a stunningly, fantastic win. I wasn’t able to watch any of the game today, so thank you to those of you who kept me up-to-date in the match thread. I am really looking forward to seeing the goals and reading tomorrow’s rags. We really do seem to be the real deal Under Unai Emery. Brilliant performance and cements us in the top six for the weekend. It would be great if a few other teams help us out with results against the sides around us.

No

Thank you mate ❤️
I just don't see it happening anytime soon.  As fans, were impatient - but to be fair to the club and the owners - we are no pushover anymore on or off the pitch.  I think most people around the club really think this is just the beginning.  We have had set backs, and will have some more, but I think Villa and Unai is a perfect match for both parties.

Even the likes of Rio Ferdinand are saying "he's got to be in the next England squad" when looking at a table that shows he's scored as many goals as Haaland since the World Cup. I don't think even Southgate can deny him right now.

If he remains true to form he'll be encouraging Ollie to join one of the Scum 4 shortly.

Would've been nice to hear him get a hearty booing from all four corners of the ground when his ugly mug shot up on the screen.

But today is not one to worry about the former Boro captain.

There isn’t team on the planet at the moment they could have lived us with today.

That was the most complete and best performance from Villa in ages. Everyone played so well for the whole game, we were on the front foot, and importantly the level of fitness and energy showed through again.

Players that would have been flagging early on the season are all so much fitter.

That was pretty much the perfect performance.

We dominated them from start to finish, all over the park & the scoreline heavily flattered them.

Playing through their press pretty much bypassed their tactics & there was only one team on that pitch who looked liked Champions League contenders.

Every player to a man gets a 10/10.

Some will say that Newcastle were poor & didn't turn up.

In reality, we didn't allow them to turn up because we were more dominant over them than a BDSM madame.

Today, they were our little bitch.

Its nice to flip that around after some of the results we have had against them in the past with managers who didnt have a clue what they were doing.

Absolutely fantastic that it was against those lot too... 😂
