i think Leicester will stay up. their squad is strong on paper and with the right appointment they should be able to get enough points to finish above at least 3 other teams. in the medium term their issue is around money and improvement and how this matches with their fans expectations who have become accustomed to fighting for top 4 and an FA cup win.

The crisp munchers were all moaning about a handball in the build up to our first goal, I couldn't see anything from where I was sat, did they have a point?

Nah Buendia controlled beautifully it with his chest/shoulder, then his pass was quality.

It did look like handball to me but I've only seen it from one angle in the Sky highlights/clips posted here. I'm sure VAR got it right though.

In fairness he caught the ball, spun it on one finger like you see basketball players do, then he made the pass.

it was right in front of the ref and I think he did that exaggerated shoulder upper chest play of the ball. So no I don’t think it was handball.

WM were convinced it was a handball by Buendia that var would be checking. They seemed a bit surprised to find out it was for a possible offside.

Whilst that was ok I thought doing the through the leg dribble may have got ref's attention but no harm done.

I reckon that ref was on mushrooms or something, he saw a corner that never was which should have led to Lurch scoring for them early on, the decision reversal for the free kick in injury time that led to the 'penalty' award, then the penalty itself were shockers.

And on that decision reversal, he seemed to change his mind after listening on his mike. Now call my cynical but I suspect someone at Stockley Park stuck their oar in, which is absolutely not supposed to happen.

I thought that was the point of VAR to say have a look at this because you have made an extremely bat shit crazy decision.

Only on key decisions on pens or dangerous fouls though, they're supposed to keeping away from the mundane stuff so we don't end up with 3 1/2 hour long games. And it didn't look like an obvious foul on the Leicester player, unlike the following penalty decision.

I'd also question where this 'eagle eye' was when the ref awarded that corner they nearly scored from early doors.

Goals, red card incidents, penalty box incidents. I believe that's VAR's purview.

It perhaps wasn't the first time a fourth official might have suggested the ref might want to have a rethink, though.

I think if Souttar had scored, the goal would not have stood. After all he clearly awarded himself a corner.
