Got some lads coming from  Ireland over for the Bournemouth game in April, going to need about 7 tickets,I can give them our 2, do they need to be in any members scheme to get them , plus they haven't purchased any before

If they want to get seats close together they are going to need to be members so that they have enough priority on the sales windows.

Don't mind if they are different seats around the ground, what the chances of purchasing tickets then?

There is usually a smattering across the Witton Lane Upper when they go on general sale.
Make sure they all have fan IDs though - it doesn’t cost anything but you can’t buy without them. You need to have them set up and linked to your account to be able to go for tickets as soon as they go on sale at 5pm.

Am I losing it.  :) :)

Just bought a Wycombe Wanders ticket on the Villa site.

Puzzled it's 00:09  9th September, Monday Morning.

Evenif it's open, I shouldn't be able to buy one, till Wednesday.

If they have made a mistake, there not having it back. ;D ;D

Have a confirmation email, already.

Really,really puzzled

I noticed that last night, I didn’t buy one as I couldn’t go but it was available for me, most confusing.

And checking this morning it’s still available though only 3 tickets left.

I have just looked, got as far as "proceed to checkout" to be told that I've exceeded limitations and won't let me go further.

Thanks  for the messages; that was just strange.

Be interesting to see what the club do about this.

Might ask me to sell them back to the club, for a discount. Then sell them on to the supporters, who are entitled to the tickets. Pretty sure, I wouldn’t have got a ticket. For this game.

Could be another ploy, to increase revenue streams  ; ;)

Didn't know where to post this, but has anyone else had problems adding the Crystal Palace cup game to their wallet from the email?

I haven't had any issues with other tickets so far, but don't seem to be able to add that one.

The tickets won't be issued until after the Bournemouth game

I’ve got a ticket question, so this is probably the thread to post it on.

A mate of mine bought his Bournemouth ticket for the lower Holte but he can’t go now - his dad is v ill. He’s got the ticket saved to his wallet so he can’t pass it on to anyone, which would be his first choice, but can he sell it back to the club? Anyone know how that works? I thought it had to be sold out before the club will take it back? I’ll ring the ticket office tomorrow but does anyone on here know?

If he wants to pass it on to someone he can ask the club to re-issue it. Just need to email with the fan ID of the person he wants to pass it on to. I think it’s much the same as if you want to pass on your season ticket, it’s already in your wallet, but you can still nominate someone to pass it on to.

The club are likely to accept it back for a refund at this stage in the week but they may charge an admin fee which reduces how much you get back, or they might only refund if it sells or something. I’m going off how it is with STs though so I’m not sure.

You can email on ticketsales@avfc.co.uk to save hanging on the phone.
