Despite us leading, I’ll be astounded if we get anything out of this game.

I’ll never save sad to see we’ve scored. I’m about 4 mins behind in Egypt.

Stop giving the ball away cheaply we win this . Moreno and mcginn did and Chelsea nearly score , do that and you could see villa getting a second on the break to be one of those magic away wins we remember for a long time.

Buendia been quiet, JJ been ace , thou a pass on the break its 2-0 , we could could easily been two up thou.

I think we'll score again.

The American coverage is just as biased as Sky. They're only talking about how shit Chelsea have been.

It's been a really exciting game chelsea are playing at a high tempo, if we can get hold of the ball and slow it down to testimonial pace like we usually do maybe we can see it through.
Mudryk is a passenger for them I can't see him coming out for the 2nd half. Which is the worry with the talent they have on their bench.
We've created enough chances to have scored at least one more too. Can't really ask for more at half time.

Good score line but terrible to watch. Must be 85% Chelsea possession. It has to change or the score will.

I disagree, I think our midfield is controlling where the game gets played meaning all they really have is putting the ball out wide.

JJ and Dougie are the 2 best players on the pitch by a long way for me.

Get Ramsey on the ball - he’s causing them problems

Need to cut out the slack passes

Watkins other than 1st chance has been brilliant

He's having his best game for a long time, as are a few others. Ramsey looks a threat, Buendia showing much better control, Luiz is everywhere, it's the defence that worries me as Chelsea are given free licence to pump balls into our box. Probability says they'll get one in the back of the net but then they still have to get past Emi.

Good thing is we're creating; ignoring the Watkins shocker, Ramsey broke twice down the left with Watkins in space in the middle, one Watkins was offside so Ramsey had to delay the pass, the second Watkins timed his run to perfection but Ramsey failed to release him. We also had the McGinn crossbar after some lovely play and of course the goal where Watkins had again timed his run to perfection and was gifted with the simplest of lobs into an empty net.

Let's hope that was our shit half.

Gallagher would probably do well with how this game is being played. He tends to struggle in the more technical slow paced games. Him coming on for Loftus Cheek feels obvious.

Wonder if Kamara will be able to last 90 minutes. Probably not and he is on a yellow so that will weaken us a bit as he reads the game so well with his positioning on the edge of the box and pretty calm in possession (when he isn't receiving the ball from a short goal kick).
