Chelsea still spending insane amounts. I really don't get how they hope to avoid FFP regulations.

Because they are recouping hundreds of millions on youth team players.

There's virtually nothing they can do this summer that will screw them for FFP. It's the next seven summers that will (hopefully) screw them.

They need to keep selling youth team players at the current levels for half a decade to pay for what they've done for the last year or so.

Exactly, for the big signings whilst they can spread the cost over a number of years (5 max if in Europe), those costs are locked in (absent any sales - which may cause issues by crystallising losses). The trick of selling the youth players for tens of millions can only get you so far.

Felix to Barca
Johnson to Spurs

I'm pretty sure we're done.

We've had a really good summer transfer window wise, but I can't help but think that yet again we've left ourselves undercooked up front. Yes we can try a combination of Diaby/Zaniolo/Bailey if Watkins gets injured, but that really is a lot of square pegs in round holes, and far from ideal.

Coutinho getting done means one more coming in. I’m convinced of it. Emery as much as suggested it. Deadline day will be interesting

It's always the way Risso.  But there's always the next transfer window (except that there isn't as everyone knows you can't get the players you want in Jan and it's better to wait until the summer)...

But seriously I agree, we've done well and Diaby could be a superstar.  Duran will have to step up if the worst happens to Ollie.

Well it’ll be finished soon so we’d better hurry up.

Had SSN on today and I've learned:

Some players are determined
Some players are durable
Some players are energetic
Some players are lively
Clubs won't sign players without carrying out a medical on said player first
A move to Spurs is a "dream move"

Think we’re about to find out if there’s a chance of anymore. He’s just done his press conference

I've just finalised my FPL teams so if everyone could just stay where they are now, please and thanks.
