Udinese look to Aston Villa’s Davis and Nottingham Forest’s Dennis

Udinese are searching for the replacement for striker Beto and have set their sights on Aston Villa’s Keinan Davis and Nottingham Forest’s Emmanuel Dennis,

Good move if he can get it.

“🚨EXCL: Unidese have reached an agreement in principle with Aston Villa to sign Keinan Davis✅ “

Great move Keinan!

“The player will travel to Italy in the next 24-48 hours to complete medical!”

Oh well, never mind.

After Lenglet, are we done or are we thinking we are still on the look out?

Think the only two areas of question left are 2nd choice keeper and striker.  There haven't really been any substantial links in those two positions all summer, so I think we might be done, but there is a just a sneaking feeling that we might pull a deal off on deadline day.

If Fati has gone to Brighton then it probably means we were never in for him.

Fati is off to Brighton
Mental that a player like that can sign for Brighton. Just goes to show the power of the Premier league these days.

I know we're clearly a bigger club but they're in a better European competition than us and also have what looks like a really good manager (like us), I don't think it's that clear cut.

Isn’t it just a loan? He might just be putting himself in the shop window.

Agreed. Someone was asking earlier would Spurs be that attractive as a club with no European competition to offer, and being in London the only attractive (for some) thing about them these days. History wise Brighton aren't a big club, but anyone who actually watches football would know they're an exciting team with European football and are likely to be challenging for Top 4 this season.

Brighton must be smashing their wage structure to pull that one off. Hopefully it leads to mass squad unrest and they lose their FFP poster-boy status, leading to eventual demotion.
I'm moving down there in a few weeks so I'll be happy to see the collapse at close quarters.

It shows how far they have come. Fair play, get him fit he is a brilliant signing for them. They have signed 3-4 19/20 year olds that will no doubt keep the ££ rolling in.

I would say he never gets a break, but ...

Anyway, brilliant move for him. Think he'll do well there.

If no new strikers are incoming in this window, I'd have kept Keinan as back-up, at least until January. The forward options are too short, especially with any injuries that may occur. Hopefully there maybe a new striker signed, even a loan option.

I think we’re light up top too. We also have plenty of latitude to spend.
