No matter who we sign there's always a post asking for one more.

I know Mbappe and Messi have arrived but I feel we could do with one more forward Haarland perhaps?

Still no direct cover for Watkins, which I guess is what a lot of people want to see.

Certainly no new cover but sure Emery would argue Duran is that player.  It’s a big ask if Ollie is out for a prolonged spell though.

Same I guess of Olsen if Emi is out.

Suppose technically Keinan hasn’t left yet :-)

I'm not sure Emery would argue that. He clearly isn't anyway, his first touch often goes further than I can kick it!

Top of the list at the beginning of summer. Maybe Watkins is holding out signing a new contract until we've got rid of all our strikers. ;)

Its like a trampoline at times...

He is still young though & has the ingredients to become half decent.

I wouldn't want to have to rely on him as the main goalscorer though.

But I imagine Zaniolo would move up front if Watkins was out...

Guendozi joining Lazio for €1m season loan with option to sign for €12m permanent.

Spurs in for Fati.

Barcelona trying to sign Felix while still making FFP work.

Cole Palmer going to Chelsea for £45m. Shows how much money can be made from youth development if you can nail it.

With no European football will spurs be attractive?

We genuinely do need a striker though.

That makes him the perfect understudy. Watkins has the same first touch (some of the time)!

Maybe that's why we haven't signed a new striker this window, Unai could only find players that can control a ball.

I quite like the element of surprise it brings. It certainly worked at the weekend with that deft touch off his knee before the excellent cross to Cash.

I'd imagine it'll be similar to Chelsea. They've played in Europe practically every season for the past couple of decades, and are based in London. They're not going to struggle to attract players, cos the uninformed neutral will take a look at last season's League table and figure it's unlikely that both us and Brighton are going to finish in the top 7 again. I'd guess most neutrals would put the top 8 as Manc City, Manc Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, Us, Spurs, Chelsea - with the first 3 in the Champions League, and the others fighting it out over the remaining 4 places. And I'd also guess a substatial number of neutrals would have us as the ones missing out on Europe, cos to be fair evidence from the past couple of decades would point to that.

As long as you're not suggesting the re-signing of Rudi Gestede.
