They've said they want £50m for him but it was thought that they would take £40m. Nothing more than a thought though. They might do a deal for £45m+add-ons.

That's a tough one, they'll take a hit to the pride with that one, the fact that Brentford even think they are as much of a jump up to be able to take their best players off them.

That's a tough one, they'll take a hit to the pride with that one, the fact that Brentford even think they are as much of a jump up to be able to take their best players off them.

When we were supposedly interested it was Brentford that made a move, think it was 30 and then 35. They've come back in now with over 40, but Spurs are supposedly interested now too.

I suppose if the player has a preference for Spurs, and the club doesn't really want to sell, they may as well hold out for as much cash as possible.

Johnson is a good player, would be a very good player under Emery I reckon. Sadly, I also think he'll kick on under Ange so I hope Spurs don't get him. Already think Spurs look very un spursy so far which is worrying.
