What about having two players for every position as mentioned by UE? We still haven't got a back-up RB for Matty Cash. Any sign of a replacement for Mings?

You do know the window hasn't closed yet? Why are you so impatient during every transfer window?

We are definitely one defender light IMHO but if Chambers is still here come September he & Konsa may well be seen as the back up RB options.  If Emery is happy with Konsa, Torres, Carlos & Chambers as centre halves then maybe someone who could play RB & CB is the target.

We also have the option of 3 CBs at times with Kamara dropping in there, if I remember correctly he did that a fair bit at Marseille

Like Gareth has just said and someone else the other day (might have been Ozzjim), a right sided centre back who can play right back as well is maybe more likely than a straight replacement for Mings.

Wouldn't be shocked if we are waiting on Foyth. Barca don't appear to be able to afford him, and he is well known to Emery.

Is Aaron Ramsey being delayed until we have played them at the weekend? Seems to have been on agenda for weeks
That would be very small time, if so.

Well, and the Ddonk, if he's still with us.

Right back and 2 forward players needed I think (assuming acuna replaces digne and philogene and ramsey jr go).

According to the Spanish press, Villareal are in no rush to sell him, they don't need the money and are holding out for the release clause value of €54m for him. The player wants to go but it looks like Barca have given up, plus that's serious money for a right back.

All these rumours, Foyth, Tavares et Al point at Unai wanting to increase the height of the side

If we were to bring in Foyth, I'd be ecstatic.

Don't know much about Foyth, but he doesn't seem to have played much for a 25 year old, injury or did he just get spurs'd?

Linked with an interest in Abde Ezzalzouli from Barcelona for £20m. Don't know anything about him.

Also being linked with Marcus Alonso.

Good on the ball, very head down & closed vision.

No better than some of the youngsters we are releasing...

Swapping Digne on high wages for Marcus Alonso seems a very strange move
