I can’t believe we haven’t got a left back lined up if Digne is close to leaving, we’ve got two fixtures coming up and he’s our only player fit for that position. I get why we may want to sell him as that wage for a back up player is enormous. Although if he played like yesterday all the time he’d be hard to remove from the side.

When we went 3 at the back Yesterday Cash and Digne were both playing as wingers and not wing backs and bouba was dropping between the back 3 on the odd Everton counter pushing Konsa and Torres to LB and RB positions respectively.
I know Everton were shit but that might be a system we play if all goes to pot with the LB and RB position.

Yeah maybe but this really limits our options for formations.

With Chambers about to come on for Kamara until Coutinho broke down.

Letting Digne go to Nice on loan seems daft to me. Hopefully its bollocks.

Sell him or keep him as back up. Don't loan him whilst his contract  winds down and value decreases, especially if Acuna isn't coming, and most especially if it means Tavares being a potential replacement.

Acuña substituted on 46 mins. Don't know if injured, to blame for the goal conceded moments earlier, or because he has a flight to Birmingham to be on.

Is Aaron Ramsey being delayed until we have played them at the weekend? Seems to have been on agenda for weeks

It's taking almost as long as the Steve Sidwell transfer all those years ago for this to be announced.

It's a long shot but is it possible that some of our more exotic prospects are waiting to see if we qualify for the Conference group stage before signing ?

Yes, that’s a long shot. More likely is we’ve done our business for our primary targets that we’d already laid the ground work for and we’re now onto the “nice to haves”, who have other options and/or require the domino effect of their clubs signing someone first

What about having two players for every position as mentioned by UE? We still haven't got a back-up RB for Matty Cash. Any sign of a replacement for Mings?
