Romano linking us with Nuno Tavares. I know absolutely nothing about him.

Hope he's more than a woman.

Was ruled out with illness on Saturday, Night Fever apparently.
Heaven must be missing an angel if he is here.

I can almost hear the keyboards being hassled for Google information about the Tavares!

Forest apparently buying Sevilla's right back, Montiel, should see if we can get a 2-4-1 deal with Acuna!

Forest are taking him on loan with an option to but; the sensible option. €11m for a World Cup winner seems a very cheap bit of business if they do.

The option to buy kicks in if he doesn't go to jail.

Those that do know Traveras on here haven't had anything good to say about him.

On reflection, Tavares is younger than Aly Cissokho. Does that count?

I'm just hoping it's like when we were trying to sign Diaby and there was a load of talk that we had switched our attention to Doku. So in that while there's talk about Tavares, hopefully we still sign Acuña. If Digne leaves, Acuña is a good option. If the option is Tavares, we're better off keeping Digne.

I'd never heard of Tavares before yesterday, when I was reading the comments under a twitter post linking us to Rob Holding. The comments on the putative link with Holding were along the lines of 'will drive him there myself'. Alongside this were a few gleeful comments that they might also be mugging Forest off with Tavares, and how it great it would be to shift the pair of them, as they were beyond awful.

On that basis, I'd rather we didn't sign him. Would rather either Digne stays, or preferably we switch him out for Acuna.

I think we should sign Jermaine Beckford.

Let’s not forget a lot of those Arsenal fans were the same about Emi.

Holding was very average in them fading out of the title race last season and could probs do with being at an Everton or Wolves.

Tavares never noticed
