😄

And to be fair, the only point I was trying to make was I don't think we should be judging the success of our transfer window off the back of who people want to personally blame for last Saturday's performance.

And why not indeed.

Surprised Walker Peters is still at Southampton.

9/11 were crap talk about understatement of the century

Absolutely. Boyzone, Blue and Backstreet Boys can fuck off, too.
Public Enemy were saying they were a joke a good 5 years before they were formed. Chuck D is a hip hop shaman. Truth.

If Coutinho leaves, I suspect we will look for another replacement, especially if Dendonker goes too.  I know they play in different positions but the numbers are important with the amount of games we might end up playing.   If both go, I wonder if we might end up going for Guendouzi after all.

The Newcastle result was all Olsen's fault.

Still think he'd be a useful addition.

Got to remember that the Saudi transfer window is open 3 weeks after ours closes too, which could create some issues and opportunities.

If a window is open for the Saudis but not for us how does that work? We can sell but not buy?

Yup…Chelsea deadwood hoovering incoming along with trying to destabilise the clubs around Chelsea and Newcastle probably

What opportunities does that give us then getting rid of someone?

Suppose it means we can hang onto someone until the very end of the window of we're not sure about getting a replacement. For example it sounds like we're willing to let Digne go, and Saudi are interested, but we don't want to let him go until we get a replacement. We can go right up to the closing of the window in trying to sign someone and not have to worry about being left "stuck" with Digne because there's two weeks left to get that deal done.

If & it's a big if, we off-load Couthino, Digne, Traore, A Ramsay & Archer, that's a significant amount off the wage bill & transfer fees.

I'd imagine Davis & Hause, if anyone will risk him, will go for one last loan

It could fund 2 or 3 significant additions.

I don’t think funds are the problem, it’s FFP
