He's always come across like that even when you watch behind the scenes stuff at the ground. He's just got a miserable head and overall demeanour, he looked the same at Everton (I know, more warranted).

Yeah but he couldn't get away from Everton fast enough. It wouldn't surprise me if he'd been told he can find another club if he expects regular first team football beyond September. You may be right but I'd never noticed it before.

He looked happy in one of the preseason games. One of the young lads scored, I think from his pass, and they had a little celebration together. Maybe that was a one off.

I remember being unimpressed with Acuña a couple of times during the World Cup, looked like his physicality was his main weapon but have never seen him for Sevilla so maybe there's more to him.

Acuna is shite....

Oh absolutely, what with his World Cup winners medal and being judged as the best left back last season in La Liga. Absolute shite! Now if you'd said he was too old.. but you didn't. TOYA

This. Acuna would be great for us. As would Adams.

Kieran Tierney at Arsenal would be ideal, Newcastle being heavily linked. He's 26 and would be genuine competition for Moreno. That's the calibre of player we should be pushing to get.

Born on the Isle of Man, easily the most high profile footballer from there.

No need to put us off now, Martin 😉

I like Tierney.
He tucks his shirt into his shorts. Obviously brought up properly.

Yanited do not want to let slabhead go until they sign a replacement
Why dont we target the replacement, slabhead stays
Done and dusted

Acuna links are true. Would be if Digne goes (guessing Saudi)

What's the deal with footballers from the Isle of Man? There's loads of England/three lions flags knocking about at the moment ... would they automatically be 'English' or do they get to choose which country they represent?

Asking cos I've been on holiday on the island this week and it's been bugging me.

Could be English people living there Algy showing support for their country.  I occasionally put out my tattered St. George's Cross when the humour takes me, especially when Mrs S puts out her Irish Tricolour during sporting occasions.  Hers is bigger than mine btw.

My guess is that it would be similar to the Channel Islands, and I think that they can declare for any of the four home nations.

Just saying.

Imagine the amount of red cards he’d get in the PL :-)
