Sevilla left back that looks like someone you wouldn't mess with, but not someone who would help with our lack of height

Twitter linking us with Marcus Acuna.
Whoever that is?

He's really good. Nominally a left-back, but a bit like an Argentinian Milner. Decent in midfield if needed.

Would be a much more useful squad player than Digne.

May be related to Marcos Acuna, the former Sporting left back who they sold to Sevilla after the Sporting fans attacked their own players at the training ground.

Aruna is different gravy! Very good player and a solid 8 out of 10 week in week out. I would be very happy if he signed as he's great at cdm as well so provides competition and cover for multiple positions.

Sounds very similar to Acuna. Looks like we're after him and Sevilla will replace him with the much younger Borna Sosa from
VfB Stuttgart.

Acuña is the best of the three of them for me.

Acuna reminds me a little of Freddie Bouma when defending, but probably more attacking overall

Touché! He's certainly the eldest at 31 years young.

I blame the dodgy Irish WiFi and excessive alcohol for the typo!

In watching the first half of the Utd - Wolves game, I have been impressed by the dog-heads' right-back Samedo. Don't know much about him but wonder if he could be a decent option to compete with Cash.

Would we be able to persuade him to take such a step down though?

He's from Benfica's academy, the Dingles got him from Barca.

There’s an article in the BBC and he is listed as one of the players that they spent a fortune on for little return.  Possibly a good player but we’d want him at a discount.

I wouldn't consider €30m a fortune for a Portuguese international from Barca, but he is 29. "I know nothing", just throwing the name out there.
