Cash needs upgrading, definitely. He's a willing runner, but technically he's lacking. Contrast him with Moreno, who's much more effective going forward because he can keep the ball in tight areas.

Incredibly, I think we’re going to need another centre half.

Cue the lazy links to Maguire again.

Yes we’re going to have to get in a centre back now. I’d be looking at someone experienced.

Didn’t he go to West Ham? Need someone to organise now Mings is out though.

Konsa is a follower not a leader

The deal hasn't gone through yet, Mancs don't want him to go until they've narrowed down potential replacement and started negotiations. Madness.

Absolute minimum we need in the next two weeks:

A central defender
A forward/striker
A right back

They need to be quality too, and we should be looking to double what we've spent so far.

Laporte for centre back? Suggestion not a rumour.  I know Laporte and Torres didn’t work in the one WC game but surely can be coached to be a unit?  Find a Spanish right back and could have a compete Spanish speaking back line when Moreno is fit

I agree but I don’t see it happening.

We need a centre forward who can score 8/10 chances they get.  What we have now is 5/10.

I fear we are about to discover the degree to which Mings’ organisational ability enables Konsa to perform.

I reckon we’ll start with Carlos and Torres next week.

We’ve also seen how important Moreno is to how we play. We can’t just switch sides and have Cash do that on the right because he just is not good enough.

I remain convinced not renewing Ashley Young was a mistake.

We need a right back, a Buendia style player and, unbelievably, a centre half in quickly.

September is what I’ve heard - just waiting for confirmation on the year

Eh? We have a 1 in 2 striker and you want a 4 out of 5?
