What's Vlahovic done to annoy people? Have I missed something?

There was a poster on here who said he reckoned wed get close to a 200m spend this summer. Imagine if he was right...

I wouldn't get your hopes up, I rarely am when it comes to transfers. :)

*It was around the time Alemany was supposed to be coming to B6, I was getting a bit giddy.

Oh was it you. Well we're at £84m now, if there's another big one you won't be that far off. As of now I don't think it's as mad as it seemed before.

He's a Serbian nationalist, basically. PSG were apparently looking at buying him and some of their Ultras said they'd cut his fingers off if he came, and this forum decided they feel the same.

£150m was the figure I saw mentioned quite a few times. And they've been quite smart at keeping the cost down so far...one on a free, one for £27.5m up front and this one £43m up front (depending on what sources you go by). There could still be another couple of big deals yet.

Three excellent signing so far.  All internationals with lots and lots of caps between them.  To be greedy, if we can get in a right back and another striker, that would be great.  Hopefully Olson improves as every other player has since Unai took charge which might mean we don't need another keeper.   I wonder who is the next target.

A rb and another forward player and a backup GK keeper and I would be happy

If the first 2 could be world class that would be ace

Given we let him go, surely we must have one coming in?  I can't see Unai settling for second best with Konsa or Chambers in there.

No chance. We will get a top RB also. I like Matty Cash but he’s a really excellent 2nd choice for me. We need a better RB. I was reading a rumour about Frimpong the other day. Bollocks source mind you. But that’s the kind of upgrade we need.

Dumfries would be my choice but probably unrealistic , but we have Emery who is like a magnet

The full back who links up with Diaby must be able to read Diaby's movements well enough to make passes to him, as well as go forward quickly enough to take advantage of the space Diaby will create.

With his offensive forays, Pau will also be making a lot of room, which will enable players like Diaby to receive the ball in a decent position and in space.
Oh wow we're going to be very exciting to watch! Wonderful!

Domfries would be perfect if we want to go down the route of being able to flip the asymmetry and have a defensive left back and attacking right back. The flaw with that is that I think Watkins works better if we're blanced as we are now, if we flip it we'd need to change how he plays or have another striker to use, maybe Cam would be better that way though.

We want another striker to play alongside or instead of Watkins
But is this Diaby ? He can play there but I don't think he is going to be the striker as such.
I think we will see a move for a striker as attacking reinforcements are needed in this area to see us through a 50 match season.
And we can't simply have one senior striker
