I've seen Chrisene described as being the back-up left back but Seb Revan seems to have overtaken him.

Revan is better going forward for me so is a more like-for-like replacement for Moreno, I'm not sure either are ready to play regularly though.
Talking of young fullbacks, I have to admit to being wrong about KKH.  I thought he may have been good enough to step up as reserve right back last season, let alone this.  Given we've let Ashley go and he's still didn't get a sniff he must have gone backwards fast.  Appreciate we tend to want a defensive right back, but even so I thought really thought he'd step up and we could be making use of him now.

He had a bad loan last year, Huddersfield just weren't a good fit and were really badly managed (the squad was much better than being in the relegation battle all season). I think he'll have a better season this year and he's still only 20 so plenty of time to turn things around.

True, but timing wise it's a shame.  It could have come together nicely this season whereas instead I presume we'll go to market.

€15m is on the table for him from Genoa and it seems Boca are likely to accept. Madness. Only problem I see is now that he's in the Italy side he may decide it's the best place to keep his place in the team.

As for his goals, I'm reading '25 goals from 35 league appearances, including six from eight so far in 2023. '

There's 5 months left on his contract.

That explains a lot. Plus, Tigre had an option to buy but haven't paid Boca anything yet so stand to lose the player for nothing.

Supposedly looking at Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.

surely his wages are prohibitive. isn't he on something obscene like £300k/wk?

PSG were apparently looking at him too and their Ultras sent him a warning that they'd cut his fingers off if he signed for them.

Probably same category as João Félix, Ferran Torres or Asensio. Would be fantastic if it came off but probably unrealistic for right now.

A bit of history of unpleasant Serbian nationalism means that they didn't want him there.

Looks like Chelsea and Real are also looking into his situation.. would be insane if we were to pull something like that off.

Apparently its to do with his support of Serbian supremacy over Kosovo. And there was only a small group of them, but the PSG Ultras are genuinely insane, so...

Well, a brief dive into quite a little rabbit hole later and now I don't want him either. Though I can't say that the whole dactylectomy thing is quite up my street either.

"Vlahovic in Paris we'll cut your three fingers off".

Explanation.
