Apparently we’ve made an approach for Lukaku.

Doesn’t seem an obvious fit for us. Where have you seen it, Jon?

Twitter nonsense, not a proper source

Gazzetta Italia that well known ‘not a proper source’
We made a proposal according to Gazzetta.

Seriously, does every thread have to turn into a political or social debate. Mods?

We're not really here to tell people what they are and aren't allowed to talk about.

Quite rightly too but as individuals we could all perhaps show some discretion.

Personally I think letting the conversation work itself out without moaning about it works best.

Add stinking attitude to the list.

Can you explain that a bit more Paul, as I don't see what you mean?

Need more classics like this (on claret & blue vinyl).

Absolute classic, always reminds me of the journey up to Ewood Park for the first leg of the league cup semi final. Great lads, great away trip and great result.

Reminds me of us singing it in Wycombe train station, whilst throwing around a wheel of cheese liberated from the executive boxes.

Ha, well we needed to make our own entertainment to raise spirits after that shit show.

£30m seemed to be talked about in terms of Lukaku and Inter. I know his wages would be huge but the fee seems quite reasonable.

It’s the briefest of mentions, literally ‘Aston Villa made a proposal’ That’s it.
The big part of the article is the fact he is refusing to travel with Chelsea on their pre season tour, not even returning to London.

Same with Coutinho.

I don't see there being anything in this one tbh. I don't think his personality would suit the squad dynamic.

If nothing else it would stop him scoring against us.

I don't like his "I need to feel loved & wanted to perform" attitude.

Suggests that he can turn it on & off whenever he feels like it.

His massive wages should be enough for him to perform.

Plus, have some pride in your craft...

No thanks to Lukaku. Attitude problem, fat, waster.
