I didn’t realise Rodrigo was 32 I thought he was a promising youngster!

He's only a promising youngster when compared to me

Rodrigo from Leeds (see links from earlier in the summer) has gone to Saudi Arabia.
Actually off to Qatar.

Ah yes. Thanks for the correction.

To give an idea of how long he's been around, he played for Bolton over a decade ago alongside Zat Knight and J Lloyd Samuel.

Dialby is an exciting link.  But he’s 5ft 6 and we’re probably already the smallest team in the PL.  if Torres plays ahead of Mings we’d lose a lot of power there too.  Are we going to get bullied?

I did wonder if the lad at Milan is partly being looked at to get a bit of height into the side.

Would make sense ‘if’ the story earlier in summer about Tammy was true…looking for a striker with a bit of height

Know very little about him, but he apparently plays across the front line and from videos seems happy to put the work in so might be a valid link to give us a very different option.

I've seen Newcastle and Utd linked with him too.
Who are Utd?

I think that's why Kessie keeps cropping up in links too

So Diaby and Bailey played together for 2 seasons, both racking up 50 - 60 appearances each over those 2 seasons, anyone know how that worked? Did they always just sub for each other? Need some German football expert here.

Diaby played more as a central striker, Bailey stayed out wide.

Agree that a goalkeeper will probably be done with very little lead-up. Should be very good with playing it out.

We've been linked with a highly rated 20 year old from Valencia. Meant to be rapid.

Anyone else noticing the emphasis on pace? Pau - top 5 fastest players in Spain. Diaby - one of the fastest players in Europe. Johnson - fastest player in the Premier League last season.

Defenders could get very worried about facing us.

Sheffield I always say as they are the first but I could be wrong about that. Unless the poster accidentally added "and" in between Newcastle Utd.

Ah yes I have a vague recollection of the name, but had assumed it was someone else.

Genuinely can't tell if this is serious or not.

It's serious, you'll get pulled up on here fo not specifying, it's been that way for ever

I assumed context would have made it obvious and removed any need for clarification. I'll keep it in mind next time.
