Cheers LeeB

What sort of wage is Digne on then and would it be much different to what Tierney would demand? I would think there wouldn’t be that much difference, might as well just pay Forest and not use Digne as a makeweight.

Forest have signed Willian on a free, quick and cheap replacement for Johnson?

Sure the Forest fans would be overjoyed at that!!

Would Diaby have crossed paths with Emery at PSG or do I have my dates wrong?

Yes. John Percy mentions it in the Torygraph piece.

Blimey, Diaby and Johnson would more than do.

And here I thought there'd be a massive lul once we finally got Torres stretching the shirt.

I think you'd have to say that Tielemans, Torres, Diaby, and Johnson... I mean, we'd have had worse summers

Do think replacement GK could be the last player through the door.

Not only are they likely to be cheaper than the other transfers, Italy also be a case of some Keepers waiting to see if there's a first team opportunity before agreeing to be second fiddle.

Have West Ham renewed Fabianski's contract? I feel like he did alright for them last year, and certainly would be a step up from Olsen. And realistically how often would he even play?

I’d like us to keep Digne unless he’s not having being the likely second choice at left back.

Diaby and Johnson would be very good indeed as the new forward options.

Assuming we make the group stages in Europe, and manage a run in at least one of the cups, then being second choice LB could still see him getting a lot of game time. I guess you'd probably still rather be first choice, but it's not like we're planning a season of 1 game a week and very little rotation of players.

Makes sense to keep Digne until January (at least). Hopefully his form at the beginning of the season is good so we can sell at the optimum price.
