JPA and his missus were at one of the home games towards the end of the season, and I got to have a quick chat and a photo with him.

As did i. Geronimo is now 22 and lives in NYC - i commented to his wife how old it makes us feel and she said "How do you think me and his father feels" :)
Juan Pablo is still a damn fine looking man although he rocked a great suit and shirt which was spoilt in the legs being 3 inches too short and white trainers with no socks

I should of called the fashion Police!

He looked a different class at 8yo

He also had a trial at Arsenal when he was 12.

Interesting Vinnie.. Johnson is a good player, but I just can't see Villa stumping up the excessive figure Forest would ask.

Hopefully they need to balance their books and squad a bit after last years’ splurge.

Could we part-ex them Naka and Donck to bring the price down? They like a big squad there.

Also, Vieiria has taken over at Strasbourg, hasn't he? Wonder if he wants Sanson to stay on.

It appears they and he are keen, I think.

No reputable links but I see Yassine Bounou being linked with us a couple of places. Says he's turned down, or not interested in, some offers from Saudi.

Again, seems to be based purely on the idea that a) Emi will leave this summer, and b) anyone Emery has ever met will now be of interest to Villa.

I'm in Colombia at the moment. Nobody here seems to know much about Duran (and it is a football crazy nation). Everybody in Medellin knows Aston Villa due to Juan Pablo Angel who played for teh big local team here (National), and they all rate his son who is playing for National now.

I like Gnotto, and would be pleased if we signed him. Hopefully Duran makes it with us, looks raw but definitely has some good qualities.

Born in Birmingham.

Goal record looks good.

I say sign him up.

you would think he would know Duran too

What is over the odds though? "British talent" is bloody expensive. Without clicking on tabloid links, I'm guessing Forest would want £60m+ ?

£50 mil apparently. Brentford had £30 mil rejected a while ago. Apparently the player is trying to change agencies at the moment too. No idea if that effects anything.

There is a standard over the odds measure, it's called 1KP. (one Kalvin Phillips £60M). Every transaction must be measured to that standard.

Well Forest fans are worried about us signing him and £50m seems the consensus
Who is there better than him we could realistically sign?

Probably lots of people, the trick is for our extensive scouting and football leadership team to identify them.

Not saying he's a bad player, not at all, but that's a lot of money for a player with one PL season under his belt.
