Ibanez is highly strung, but could strike a chord with the fans.
Where did you pluck that from?
One to keep tabs on.

This is definitely one to pick up. Just hope he doesn't string us along.

Ibanez listed as a CB, that can play DM. Maybe could be a  Dendoncker replacement?

He’s highly rated and been linked with bigger clubs since doing well for Roma as a CB, I’d be amazed if he were to come to us as a Donk replacement, to spend the kind of money he’d command he’d be a starter in defence and would put into doubt the future of one of our current CB’s.

Plus we've never had a Mexican player (prepares to tick country off list)

Word is that Sexual Ealing is the go-between out there to broker the deal.

I'm back in the UK putting the finishing touches to the Gary Penrice deal.

Are you in a position to give us an update on the Benni McCarthy situation too? It's only a matter of time, after all.

I can't say too much, but the lad wants to come here. The only stumbling block is that he wants there to be a 45-second maximum when he goes for a half-time Bovril, and for the rats to be re-employed at the Villa Chippy.

What about Altidore? He is ready for a fresh challenge

Just 40 days to go and all we've announced is a free transfer.

I'm getting impatient, irritated and frustrated.

I just want exciting news.

Pau Torres is having his medical this week, it's all done he's just been getting married.

We've therefore signed two high class internationals already.

Talk today of Teun Koopmeiners. Haven't we been linked with him before?

He has the name of a Tintin villain.

Good player but similar to Dendonker in type. Would cost a fair bit I'd imagine and would be competing with Doug and Kamara.

At this rate the back half of our team will have the depth matched only by Man City, and the front half by Lincoln City.

Half suspecting Teun Koopmeiners is actually flemish for 'absolutely nobody'.

When does that joke start again? Couple of weeks maybe?
