Backup goalkeeper is a definite requirement. Do we think Emery will stick to using the reserve keeper in the early rounds of the cups?

Being as everyone really wants to win something...

If Sancho is available for ~45m, I would like us to throw our hat in the ring.

Doubt it, now he has seen him play a few times!

Laporte mentioned.

That sort of ball playing centre half would be extremely useful for our style of play.

The Pau Torres links seem to be getting stronger all the time.

Anywhere credible? From a quick scan I only see references from the standard click bait type places.

Sancho? I think i've seen him play well once; against Kosovo! Admittedly i never saw any Bundesliga.

I bet they are - isn't he on mega wages? Fr us to take him on it would have to be either loan to buy or low fee and we take the wage on.

For what its worth I think he would be a good signing, he was very good for Dortmund. Just cant see us forking out £250k a week (and wouldn't want us to either).

Certainly nothing concrete, but an awful lot of noise.  It seems to be reported quite a lot in the Spanish press, although I'm not sure how credible it is.

Pau's will not be an easy negotiation, since the player has one year left on his contract and that makes the people of Castellón lose strength in a negotiation. But at Villarreal they hope to be able to get an amount that is more or less close to the 65 million clause that they have today. The ball is on Pau's terrace, although it seems that without a radical change, it is very likely that he will end up playing in Birmingham.

Fabrizio has mentioned us, but also Bayern's possible interest.

Nicolò Schira - is pretty credible

Also Steve Kay, who I don';t think is too clickbaity?

A second top quality left sided CB is important. Torres or Laporte fits that perfectly to challenge/ultimately replace Mings. DC and Konsa to fight it out for the right side.

He would be a great singing imo. Hasn't really worked at Man Utd but they're a mess.

Bring The Sanch to B6  8)

If we can renegotiate his wages or Utd is willing to retain some of them, I would welcome it. I think Emery would do a fantastic job with him and our style of play suits him. The last time we played United we gambled on the high line, and they were just booting it over the top to try get through. It was pathetic.
