Benteke is like a love affair, okay it ended with hurt and regret, but it was awesome while it lasted and you still think back to the good times. Tammy is like an Amsterdam prostitute, we paid our 50 euros and got our fifteen minutes, but we shouldn't go all misty eyed over it or ask her to move in.

😂
I did LOL too.

I smirked and tutted.

I thought the 15 minutes was a bit of an exaggeration

And the guys at the front have seen your act one million times before
And nobody does it quite the same, so they're sitting down for more
But you're making them feel so useless and dumb
'Cause they've seen it all and they still can't come
Oh, let me tell you, it's a dirty world

I remember the Benteke v Lukaku debate raging at the time, Chelsea didn't seem to rate the latter too highly either. I didn't think it was possible to be better all-round than Benteke was in those seasons for us.

He was worth the ticket on his own for a lot of his period with us - he scored some mad and delightful goals in a period when entertainment was in painfully short supply at VP. I still think his goal against Manure where he twisted their defence inside out twice before curling his shot past a frozen De Hea (sp?) is one of the finest strikes I have seen at VP in 50 years

He had it all, but his beast headers were sexual to me

He had it in him to be a proper Villa legend and one of the best foreign imports to appear in this country.  He had a jackass of an agent I believe.

Jackson from Villarreal looks like he’s going to be a special player.

Falcao only scored a out three goals in the time he was at Man Utd and of course one would be against us in that same game.

I really thought we'd beat MU that day. I was at the tip of the North Stand right behind that goal with the most perfect view. It just went in slow motion from where I was. I then screamed like a little girl  8)

For the rumored 30m cost, its a no brainer.

That YouTube clip of Benteke’s goals was great. He had it all really, what a fantastic striker he was for us.

He really was a great centre forward.
I’m convinced Liverpool only bought him to stop him scoring against them.
