I remember the Benteke v Lukaku debate raging at the time, Chelsea didn't seem to rate the latter too highly either. I didn't think it was possible to be better all-round than Benteke was in those seasons for us.

He was worth the ticket on his own for a lot of his period with us - he scored some mad and delightful goals in a period when entertainment was in painfully short supply at VP. I still think his goal against Manure where he twisted their defence inside out twice before curling his shot past a frozen De Hea (sp?) is one of the finest strikes I have seen at VP in 50 years

Falcao only scored a out three goals in the time he was at Man Utd and of course one would be against us in that same game.

I really thought we'd beat MU that day. I was at the tip of the North Stand right behind that goal with the most perfect view. It just went in slow motion from where I was. I then screamed like a little girl
