No mention of Paul_e's favourite Welshman, Nico Williams? According to William's agent, we've put a bid in.

I'm waiting for the man to be announced.

I've heard he can run run run.

There's been rumours on this for a few days.

Milan and Chuckie...

It reminds me of when Reo-Coker was 'wanted' by Napoli, Juve and Roma...and he ended up at Bolton.

I like all the bits about Unai Emery and secret meetings and calls with people.

He's a bit like Batman really. He creeps into a player's home and waits in the shadows, then, when they walk in, he steps out and tells them about The Project in his most gravelly voice before escaping out the window and swooping down into the night.

Sorry, as Risso posted it seems to be coming from some Spanish press. No idea how reliable they are but "his agent says there's an offer" feels a bit more solid than the football insider style bullshit we'd normally disregard.

Sky have yellow tickertape that we are close to signing Monchi, with advanced negotiations ongoing.

Also, Samuel Chukwueze.

Yes please.
Chukwueze and Jackson at Villarreal look fantastic

I think AC Milan are after Chukwueze.

No, Milan are after Chukwuemeka.
Chuks agent must be a strange mix of genius and inept.  To somehow get teams like Chelsea and now seemingly Milan interested in him and, in Chelsea's case at least, paying a ridiculous fee and wages when he's done the sum total of sweet F A on the pitch is nothing short of incredible.

Conversely, the career advice he has given to his client is ridiculously bad.  The kid should have been on loan in the Championship for the past two seasons and now chomping at the bit for a PL starting place next season.  Instead, his career has stagnated and he's lost two crucial years of development.  The massive greedy prick.

I heard they were after Chuckweze. From AC Milan fans.

Whether thats true or not, its what I heard.

I hadn't heard anything about Chuckwemeka until I got onto this site.

As for Chukwuemekas agent, doesn't he have a bit of a family posse hanging around giving him "advice" that benefits only them?

There is always some family hanger on asking, "what can you do for me?"

Should always stay away when the family are too close to the players business.

Imho.

https://bilbaohiria.com/deportes/representante-de-nico-williams-lo-pone-imposible-con-el-athletic/

That whole article reads like a clickbait link.

The article may have been Google translated from either Basque or Spanish but I don't think it's clickbait, it's a regional online newspaper that covers everything, not just football.

Oh no, I wasn't meaning to infer it was clickbait, just that it read that way; as you say probably Lost in Translation. (I never did like that film)

From memory i think it turned out that they wanted him to do a few odd jobs, make the tea, clean some boots maybe have a go at tending the pitch if he proved himself?

I think Milan are currently looking to replace the bloke that cleans the bogs.

Sounds like we're very close to getting Monchi in.
