Sky saying Chelsea unlikely to go for Ugarte.  We have been linked.  Liverpool after other targets and don't seem to have lots of money.  Hopefully, we are interested.

He’s off to PSG isn’t he?

Another one going to PSG?  I wasn't aware of that.  Good central midfielder but high release clause.

I thought he was PSG bound?

Bugger.  Shame.  Decent player.  Clearly, I hate him now and have never rated him.

Stats wise, Tielemans has never had as good a season for goals and assists as Ramsey and Luiz have just had. But then, neither has Grealish since joining City either :)

Tielmans could be another Barkley based on last 18 months.

That said he could have a great season, star at Euros and be worth 80m based on what he did before.

Its whether we take the punt. Totally sorr midfield if it came off mind.
And if he is cack we sell him for 15m next season.

I think he’s a far better player than Barkley to be honest. He’s played in a Leicester side that finished 5th twice and won the FA Cup and he scored a screamer to win that for them. Has also played at the Euros and World Cup for an albeit ageing Belgium. Its all gone pete tong at Leicester for him and everyone else over the last 12-18 months, but he is a quality player and we can get him as competition in our midfield we should.

I think we’ll struggle to improve on any of our midfield four unless we get into the CL

And even then, this summer or next you'd think that Champions League clubs will be looking at the likes of Dougie and Kamara to upgrade their midfield if they carry on as they are, so it's hard to see how we buy improvements for them given they themselves would be improvements for clubs higher up than us.

And Ramsey could yet be the best, or most valuable, of the lot.

If Unai wants Tielemans, im all for it.

Think hes good and on a free its a good way of improving the squad while keeping our powder try for Bailey and Beundia upgrades

If Unai saw something in bringing back Mathieu Berson or Nigel Callaghan I don't think I could argue with it.  Let him have whoever he wants.

I think it's about as good a 'free' player as you could get, makes sense to me to give competition for our increased number of games.

This would be a fabulous signing on a free.

He is a wonderfully technical player who passes & strikes the ball beautifully.

He is a bit slow, but he works hard & would be a solid squad player. Which is something we need.

And if he regains his form, which is highly likely under Emery, he could become a key player.

Either way, on a free, its a good gamble. In my humble opinion.

The fact he scored the winner in an FA Cup final alone should be enough reason to sign him, on the off chance he could repeat the trick

If he doesn’t come then Alan Sunderland and Trevor Brooking are back up options.

If he replaces Sanson in the squad then it’s an immediate upgrade. Arguably better than Dendonker, proven internationally and not  paying those mangey foxes from the shire a penny!!
