Agree on Eze. Olise would have been good as well. Not been paying that much attention to the Championship this season, are there any standout players?

Striker up at Middlesbrough seems to be doing well.

Alex Scott of Bristol City - 19 year old midfielder is supposed to be a wonderkid.

Livramento did well at Southampton.  Might be a cheap RB option.  I think he even kept Walkers-Peters out the team when they were both fit.

Isn't he on loan from Chelsea?  Not sure.

Whilst I'd have no objection to Barnes I'd be surprised if we paid the English Premium after spending so much time and effort on the data analysis stuff.

I mean I could have told them he's worth buying for £40m the price of a fish supper.

Wouldn’t cost much either!! Surely he’s in with a great chance of being a fixture in the match day squads.

I liked the look of that Livio fella at Soton but the mistake yesterday was atrocious and we have plenty to play there.

I seem to remember both doug and kamara making the same mistake this is season. It's a common fuck up with teams not all that used to playing out from the back, so I'd certainly not be judging a young player in a relegated team for that

Appreciate that but neither played the pass straight to the player who put in in the net in a touch, thought it looked both inept and liable to break confidence.

For once I don't really care. I trust this manager, and the owners, to sort it out and do what they feel they want and need.

I'm relaxed about the whole thing. There's no concern about losing anyone, we've got European football to look forward to, some great kids coming through and a team who really are just that.

We're linked with some good names, and for good reason, we're the sleeping giant that's just waking up from a very long power nap. It feels like we've just had a double espresso and a bacon sarnie and are about to take on our day.

Brown sauce or Bella-Kotchap on the bacon sarnie?

According to Marca, Emery called Asensio and asked him to be part of the Villa project. Asensio's thinking about it. https://twitter.com/marca/status/1663284992795893760

Chelsea after Ugarte.  Disappointing if true if they can get him in sitting in a miserable 11th with no europe I am sure we would be a more attractive option

Walker Peters at Southampton has got potential and I like the look of Carlos Alcaraz as well.
Just to dismiss players because they’ve been relegated is missing a trick.
Walker-Pieters in to put pressure on Cash would be a smart move.
