I hope that our summer recruitment includes shipping Bailey out, and that we bring two players in who are better than him. He's completely dismal. He's a forward who hardly ever scores, and a winger who can't beat a man. We'd be better of with El Ghazi in the team.

and yet on Sofascore, whoscored and fotmob the rating difference between him and Harvey Barnes is tiny (it's about 0.2 on the latter but pretty much the same on the others).

Not sure about the reliability of your sources there.

Coutinho's made out of Hob-Nobs, the crumbly git.

Milk chocolate ones? He looks like he'd fit in a mug...

A Sports Direct one.

Actually, so would Mings.

I like my players to be like my coffee, in a Sports Direct mug.

Mcginn wouldn't have even fitted in a Sports Direct mug a few months back apparently.

McGinn would get his choice of mugs round my house. Including any of my Villa ones or my fella’s Harry Potter owl thing.

Love being seduced. Aston Villa usually seduces me, kiss on the neck and nibble on my ear, then just as I get comfy and warm a swift kick in the bollocks. But I can't leave them.

There's insults, really nasty insults and there's the above. And besides, with Matt Target no longer here, who who El Ghazi pass back to?

Emery has squeezed every last drop out of this current group. It’s an incredible achievement. But I can see us adding some quality at CB, a new RB, at least 1 in top player in midfield, a back up keeper, 1 or 2 wingers and proven striker. We will spend something in the region £200m. I imagine the likes of Bailey, Traore, Chambers, JPB, Dendoncker, Olsen even Buendia gone. Our squad is way too thin in terms of depth and genuine quality. It’s going to be a busy summer.

I'd be stunned if we got near that.

Under 100m imo.

Lo Celso getting linked again, Emery managed him at PSG and signed him twice for Villareal.

Flopped when last in PL though, lazy paper talk I hope.

I've been having a closer look at him since the links continue and I'm struggling to see how he's managed 40 caps for Argentina. Technically I was expecting a lot more and I can't see how he'd fit in, he's not a defensive midfielder, he's not a box to box midfielder and he's certainly not an attacking midfielder though he has played a few decent assists through. He reminds me of the hundreds of midfielders Spurs have wasted money on over the years, looks okay in flashes but paid too much and struggle to get rid of him. He's very Spursy.

The Real Madrid guy is on a free isn’t he? Kamara significantly improved the team.

Not getting hopes up over Arsenio…think we will find ourselves being used as stalking horses for lots of players coming out of Spain with the Unai connection…would have expected Arsenio to be looking at a Champions League gig.

Would be happy to be proved wrong though :-)

I only want Arsenio if Eddie Murphy is part of the deal.
