Eighth-favourites to sign Lionel Messi, Argentinian No. 10 at PSG. Good player, but I'm not sure he fits the profile we're after

I think his £400m a year wages requirements *might* just pose one or two FFP issues! I'd give it a go at sorting it out for them with some creative accounting though.

BBC gossip has Italian media saying Tammy is available for £35-40m.

Still not sure about him however that price tag seems much more reasonable than the £80m discussed recently.

Alex Moreno "on Manchester City's radar".

Player doing well for a promising team being needlessly signed by Manchester City? Well, I never.

Our standard fee if Man City come calling for anybody is £100m.

That was the price in 2021.  I fully expect transfer fee inflation to match season ticket inflation, and for us to tell them that we don't even look at the fax they've sent unless it mentions a figure north of £125m

I'm sure it's just AI-generated spin-the-wheel rumour bullshit, but honestly - I think that would be an incredibly good move.

Was Alemany at Valencia at the same times as Torres?

Some rumour that Guardiola is considering a move for Alex Moreno? Surely not!

Looking at the players Chelsea have that they'll need to offload, I'd take Trevoh Chalobah off their hands if the price was right.

Like a footballing El Ghazi. Good, young player. He's hooked up with Luis Enrique's daughter. Maybe Luis fancies a game, we need competition up front.

Speaking of Anwar, even though Mark continues to bully him, the one thing he can't deny is his ability from the penalty spot.

And El Ghazi duly scored a penalty in PSV's shoot-out win over Ajax in the Dutch Cup final last weekend.
