I've been a bit disappointed with Cash as I think I've expected him to show more going forward since he joined, maybe as I had in mind all his assists and goals as a winger at Forest.

I think he's still a decent option but that he needs younger competition than Young and someone who offers things he doesn't.

Seem to be strongly linked again today with Kang In Lee of Mallorca. We were first linked back in January but a deal of around €18m is being suggested to bring him to Unai’s revolution.

He looks ok but he's a bit on the small side. Given we already have Buendia and Coutinho playing in similar areas I'd be a bit nervous about adding another short-arse.

Size won't matter under Emery I reckon. It will be a mix of attributes. Can he receive the ball, keep possession, pass the ball accurately, make runs off the ball and be coached. We've won 5 straight PL games without being big. Attitude, desire, overall positive mentality will be massive.

You might be right but I'd just like someone who offers something a bit different to what we have if we add players where we already have a couple of good options. It's not about being big as such, rather just someone we can bring on if a team is being really physical and we're struggling to handle it.

I imagine Emery has been keeping an eye on Arsenal's Folarin Balogun who is ripping up the French League with Reims. He's only 21 but scored 18 goals and starting to look the real deal, he would have been at Arsenal when Emery was in charge. Apparently they are willing to sell him this summer.

In an ideal world we get that strong player that has all of the technical attributes he craves. My guess is though those players are either unearthed gems that might take a while to develop but mainly the types of player Man City hoover up and pay £70m for because they are just that good.

I read something by Ashley Preece (I think) the other day saying Javier Garrido (me neither) the agent of a few players in Spain (inc this guy) was visiting Villa and Wolves this week.

I would love to take Neves off Wolves. Quality footballer and still only 26.

Terrific player TV, good shout, if we could get him.  Likely to be expensive.

Linked with Nico Williams but not sure how and where.

I imagine it's just the same rumours as we had in January resurfacing.

What’s the problem with cash when he’s fit he’s a fantastic right back
Very similar to mereno on the other side

Cash's defending leaves a lot to be desired.

I disagree. He seemed to be adjusting to Emery's methods as well as everybody else before he got injured with Poland. In his last four games, the only goal we conceded was the penalty against West Ham. He was superb against Palace and Bournemouth.

Dreadful against Everton though, like even the basics of defending a standard cross field punt in his direction were too much. I think he has a bit of impressing to do with Emery. He was shite v West Ham too and Emery seemed to be visibly fuming with him.

The benefit of a smaller squad is that he will definitely get more opportunities towards the end of the season.

Definitely and he’d be great fit in the way we play. Very comfortable on the ball, can sit deep or very useful further up the pitch.

He doesn't really sit deep. He's very much a hug-the-touchline, beat-the-full-back winger.

I thought he was mainly a DM. He's one of these players that has eyes in the back of his head and knows the runs people are making without looking. He played a lovely pass in a game the other week (I think against Leeds).
