I'd like another option up front and a right back. And an Olsen replacement, but don't think UE agrees.

Is Jed Spence still at Spurs? Wonder if he'll get any game time under their new manager.

Id be comfortable with what we’ve got, although wouldn’t turn done another forward and goalie. Not to fussed about the full back situation, think chambers can do a cover job.

Same here. If we did get another full back in I'd prefer it to be someone who can cover another 1-2 positions as well because I suspect we'd let Chambers go in that scenario and his versatility is useful and undervalued. Having a few players in the squad that can do 3-4 jobs competently without necessarily being capable of regular starts in all of of them is really useful over a long season.

I reckon it’s one in, one out now with each new guy needing to be an upgrade otherwise it’s not worth it.

I agree except that I think there's still 1 'free' spot up front in the squad.

I remember when he was doing well for Southampton and wondering if KKH would be our own version of a young flying right-back in a year or so.  He seems to have disappeared for now?

Hasn't he gone to Plymouth on loan?

Yes. Still hopeful for him after his performance v Man City that time.
I thought there was a chance he'd be the best of the lot from that age group.  His development has been disappointing, but I've still got my fingers crossed for him.

Development wise, he has been fine as a player.

And his pace will always count for something.

His problem was getting a bit of a Billy big bollocks attitude during his last loan.

Don't get me wrong, Huddersfield were a bit of a shit show & even had him playing LW in some games, but when he came back, I heard he was relegated to the reserves to humble him a little.

I think without the attitude, he would be competing in the squad for that attacking RWB slot instead of loaned to Plymouth.

Hopefully he has learned from the experience though...

I'd heard (through 2nd or 3rd hand info to be fair) that he came back thinking he'd blown his chance and that he was angry that Huddersfield had messed him about after promising he'd be a regular starter when he signed. I can see how some would shape that to be billy big bollocks and think he'd need to be shot down a bit but the impression I got was that he felt he'd been let down and had let his frustration get to him.

My mate is a huge fan of KKH though and has been raving about him since he was about 13-14 so he might be trying to see the best of it. He is sure though that the club see this next loan as massively important and that if it doesn't go well it'll probably be the end for him with us.

He was unlucky with two really shit loans last year, Huddersfield were a car crash with useless Managers and I get the impression we pulled him out as it was shite. Unsure what happened at Franchise FC but weren’t they absolute cack last season.

With him and Finn Azaz both at Plymouth this year, it will be a result to look out for each weekend.

Argyle are away at Bristol City in mid-September, might take myself along.

Agree that we need another striker, but also think we still need cover at RB (who could potentially fill in at LB if needed while Moreno is recovering).

Looks like they are happy with Olsen as back-up to Martinez so we won't see a replacement coming in.

Maybe one for Other Football thread, but it might get more eyes here. Pretty great article by Aaron Ramsdale:

https://www.theplayerstribune.com/posts/aaron-ramsdale-premier-league-arsenal-soccer-england

The little shits on Twitter who tag players and abuse them/send them tweets about how they're shit or not wanted, annoy me way more than it should. What makes them think it's OK to do that, or that the person on the other end isn't a human being?

I love when you see stories of famous athletes who have had enough and they go round to the tweeter's house and predictably they absolutely shit themselves.

Curtis Woodhouse did it and the troll was made to go on TV and apologise. I think Anthony Joshua did it too.

Found dead in a basement.  Looked like a couple of hard pipe-hittin' mfckers had gone to town on him with a pair of pliers and a blow torch.
