Matteo Retegui, Argentina/Italian 24yr old Boca Juniors player being linked...

Jeremy Doku still linked even though we're getting Diaby..

Still no keeper mentioned though.

I’m talking of the people making the content, not the punters.

I still don’t like it.

The content as in providing the platform or setting the odds? Punters do the latter on exchanges.

Olsen can be upgraded by a shopping cart or a road sign so I think getting a competent keeper won’t be too hard late on in the window

Wonder if young wanted guarantees about playing time next season.

Cristiano Ronaldo aside, I bet there is no 38 year old footballer on the planet who is bothered about guarantees on the amount of playing time they get.

There must be plenty on pay as you play deals.

James Milner will want guaranteed game time at 50. He wants to outlast Julian Joachim.

Dr Gonzo of this parish and I went to see the Villa Old Stars play Stiperstones & Snailbeach FC a few years ago. Joach was playing - as fast as ever, despite cadging a fag off me at half time outside the changing room. I reckon he could beat me over fifty yards if I was in a car - he'd be breasting the tape as I was still patting my pockets looking for the keys.

I see the argument, if we had not let Young go. A utility player that can competently cover a position we only have one specialist kind of sees you through. If you want to finish top 6/7 again and go deep in a cup and deep in the conference league, relying on an injury prone right back to play 60 plus games is a recipe for disaster. If we don't buy one, we will be doing so in January.

Cash had a few injuries last season, the season before he played every minute of every game, hardly injury prone.

Missed 10 last season, 12 in his first season, in the league. With Conf league on top, reliance on Cash as our only specialist right back is not going to end well.

Me neither.

I always thought it was only used in America, but I have to agree, most people that I have come across in the online gaming industry (including Brits) use the term 'Math'.

I would be surprised if we signed anyone else until a few have left.

HAHAHAHA..........
Tottenham have identified Aston Villa's Brazil midfielder Douglas Luiz, 25, and Chelsea's England midfielder Conor Gallagher, 23, as potential replacements for Denmark's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 27, who is in talks to join Atletico Madrid. (Mail)

What's the latest intel? Has he had a break? Is he on holiday? Honeymoon? Photoshoot for the Littlewoods catalogue?

Or is he footloose and fancy free to come over or join our boys in the US?

He was back in training with Leverkusen last week, so no excuses, he should be on the first Ryanair flight this morning, shirt stretched by lunch time.
