One report saying we've bid £22m for Doku but they're asking for £34m.

Pointless. Al Nasty FC will be in soon at £50m.

It’s quite possible that one of them will come in and drive up the asking price, even if they don’t want him. It’s what I’d do if I wanted to disrupt a rival of one of the other clubs I owned. And it could already be going on with Diaby.

Indeed mate. It's been speculated on already that that's what might be happening.

Just back from a lunchtime wine tasting.

Anything happened? Al-Nasty still being all nasty?

Can we count on Doku? (Get it???) or will there be a rebellion?

Moussa we have this every transfer window?

I only post this as i’m a little merried and think this thread needs some dad jokes.

Can't we just get Monchi to phone up the Saudi club and get them to bid again?  Surely that's the best way to get this sorted?

Saw this on Reddit today:

Quote
ONE TO WATCH
Youri Tielemans (left), shrewdly bagged on a free from relegated Leicester. An impressive midfield of Ramsey, Douglas Luiz, Boubacar Kamara, John McGinn and now Tielemans cost less combined than the fee Chelsea paid for Villa's rookie reserve, Carney Chukwuemeka."

Impressive stuff.

When NSWE consider where to buy their next football club, I suggest having one in Saudi Arabia as part of their multi-club model.
