I reckon we might go back in for Joao Felix.

Even though his move to Chelsea didn't work out, he is a tremendously talented player who I think Emery would get the best out of him.

I reckon a cut price deal between 40-50 million would see him come to us.

Trouble is, he's on 250k/week.

I don't think he could command that type of salary if he were to move elsewhere, so he would need to drop quite a bit. However, depending on how much the transfer fee we pay Atletico Madrid, us paying him between £175 - £200 grand per week over a five year contract wouldn't be out of the question.

Listening to Leeds fans, we dodged a bullet the size of a house not signing McKennie in January.

Listening to Leeds fans, they'd be gutted if we signed Tyler Adams. He's the one player they have that they actually highly rate.

He’s very good.

You said last week "I don't think he's a big improvement on anybody we've got to be honest." Change of heart?

They should've bombed him out the first day he landed into training in one of those ridiculously oversized Balenciaga tracksuits.

I laughed at Leeds fans, last day of season as McKennie was taken off, chanting 'you fat bastard' at him as he walked off.

Doesn't have to be if he also thinks the people in our first 11 right now are also 'very good' :-)

I think most of us believe that players who improve on our current midfield four are very rare. We just need more around that level.

Thought he was awful for USA in the World Cup and was glad we didn't sign him after that

If we buy an American midfielder Adams is miles better than McKennie.

McKennie scares the shit out of me, he's been that shite at Leeds. I'm praying that Emery delivers on ALL fronts, we can't afford to mess up this window. It would just be our luck, we finally find a tactically astute manager who doesn't know how to buy in the transfer market.*

*Boredom of no activity (even though the market is closed) and too many years being a Villa fan. Plus it rained today so I couldn't go to the beach.

Haaland would have looked shit in that Chelsea side last season. Utter disaster. Unfortunatly I think we'll see a much better Chelsea next season with a proper manager.

I think Emery will try and bring in a natural 'number 10' type player to play with Watkins.

Coutinho is finished, and not sure Buendia has enough final product, even though his work rate is decent.

It had been suggested he was signing for Villa and was seen in the area back in January I was interested in that move but now I feel he's not needed and the good news being 'Harry Maguire is to fight for his place at Man Utd' talk sports understands.
Probably Maguire understands no Prem club actually will take him.
His stock has really fallen.
And yet he'll be playing for the England national team
