You absolute fools. We will lose, and lose badly.

We're the best team they've beaten in the league this season, and we had the Gerrard drag factor at the time.

That's not how I like to spend my pre match time.

Sensible chap, I look forward to your sober, unabridged post-match analysis of the game.

No chance against those cheats.

2 or 3 nil to them.

I think we've got every chance to be honest. They're no better than us as their league position shows, and even though they've got a massive squad, some of their better players like Sterling and James are out. We're defending really well at the moment, so if Mings doesn't repeat his brain fart from last time we played them, I can see us doing well. The players should be massively motivated for this, as win and we go three points clear of them, as well as putting a dent in the goal difference. We'll also put ourselves right in amongst Fulham, Brentford and Brighton.

As Dolly O'Dreary might have said, we can't compete with de, de de Fulhams and Brentfords and Brightons of dis world.

2-0 us, test them for weaknesses first half, dominate the second. I think it will end up being that Straightforward.
Watkins, Ramsey and we go on.

0-0 or 1-1 I’m thinking. Hopefully Bailey will be dropped, still can’t see what he does to get a place

Plus, if it’s actually possible, Bailey is worse away from home.

If UE picks him to start, I will be surprised. He must be scintillating in training.

I love everyone’s optimism but I don’t think it will be a walk in the park. Cash is out and the two Emi’s aren’t getting back until Friday as I think Argentina have another game at midnight. I just hope it’s not Olsen in goal!!

Anyway never mind the result, the important question is, who's meeting F-V for the pre-match beers?

Cash isn't a huge loss. Can't Coutinho get off his injured arse and cover for Goodday? Olsen would be a nightmare, maybe Jed can finally get the chance that those heroics at the Hawthorns deserved.

Obviously Olsen in goal would put a slightly different spin on things.
