Pretty sure the commentator just said Lazio finished second in La Liga.

That would be quite the achievement.

Yes, he definitely did. If that's the standard of commentary they have on avfc TV, glad I don’t pay for it.

Two Italian league titles ever, they're basically Burnley, Derby or Spurs.

Most famously known for "Goooooooaaaallllllllllazioooooooo!"

Not at all. People think that was the shout but it wasn’t.

But the point is people thought it was that, hence it being famous.

Exactly.

Only thickos thought that!!!

Or, people who were very young when that show was on and assumed the thing that sounded like an Italian team name, on the Italian football show, was actually the Italian team name.

Good run out, not sure Lazio put that much into it other than a trot. But we played some nice stuff
judging by some of their challenges I would argue differently that they played at a trot.

I doubt Lazio would do anything at a trot(sky).

Olsen playing the full 90 was Emery putting him under pressure and improving him. Bar the one stray pass to the opposition, he looked ok as a no. 2 keeper.

We played some great football at times, worth the £4.99 now the kids are interested. Wouldn’t have bothered just for me. Our midfield is fucking deadly - with JJ to add!

For those of us who couldn't watch, any chance of seeing the goals and having a match report, pretty please?  Sounds like we played well from reading this thread?

Watkins Goal

 Mcginn Goal

Haven't found Revan's/ the OG.

Watkins. First touch was iffy. Defender should have had it.

McGinn. Brilliant.

Yes, Tielemans best player on the pitch. He intercepted almost everything in the defensive third, moved it around well in the middle and played some killer passes on the attacking third. Masterful.
Couts showed some skill but his passing not always up to his usual standard, and he still didn’t look quite as fit as many of our players. Needs to improve a bit still for me. Olsen ok apart from giving them the ball once but he was barely tested to be honest.
I think Diaby is going to be a star, and playing in behind suits him well.

Tielemans is a level above Luiz / Kamara but they will benefit and learn from his class
