Just a point of order. Our player is now Jaden Philogene. He's dropped the Bidace bit.

I wonder whether the rules in the Championship are different or something.

Did well. Picked out Kellyman on the break away, who hit the post before Buendia put the rebound away. The ex-pro's were raving about him on commentary. They mentioned he had previously played for Northern Ireland at youth level but was eligible for England too, and they said he would clearly have a choice to make...suggesting they saw enough ability to go on to play for England at some point. I thought he would stick around at youth level for us a bit more but can see him going on loan now.

Oh no, his transfer value has gone down by a third!

He's already changed to England, but hasn't played for them yet.

The Premier League have released some bodycam footage from a camera that Guimaraes was wearing last night, makes interesting viewing.

I know the ref was wearing one. Was it definitely Guimaraes?

Just seen the goals.  Don't really think Martinez and Cash can be blamed really, Kamara just got caught in possession.  We got caught by balls over the top for the other two.

Fair enough. Didn't think they would do it for players as well but gather Tielemans had one on when he came on too. Seems to have been a few gimmicky things during these exhibition matches.

Some very positive performances last night, but I can’t for the life of me understand why we are persisting with Olsen

Every manager has an Achilles heel maybe Olsen is going to be Emery’s

Maybe Achilles' heel was his Emery's keeper?

Watching that has made me feel sea sick.

Problem is gimmicks tried out in these sort of games usually end up in real games after broadcast media pressure when TV rights are being negotiated.

Not seen any of the game (apart from Ollies goal) but it sounds like some of our attacking play was very good. Bit worrying that Olsen had another iffy game. Unai must see something in him to keep giving him chances though I'm not sure what.
