This is the table since Unai took over. It's bloody impressive however you want to look at it. Apologies for the quality I'm using my phone.

Again, the table on transfermarkt is based on matchdays NOT date so that is missing some games.

https://www.statbunker.com/competitions/LeagueTable?comp_id=718&start_date=01-11-2022&end_date=28-05-2023&start_time=0&end_time=90 - this includes every game played since Emery took over (again, I'm using 1st November as the cut off because it's neat, I think he actually started on the 2nd or 3rd having been appointed on 24th October). I know I'm being pedantic with this and it doesn't really change much 7 of the 10 games that were cancelled because of the queens death have now been played and they do have an impact on that table.

The standard fan vlog theory from Bournemouth seems to be "no disrespect, but we should be beating these".

Those days are over my friends.

Don't normally look at them but the above prompted me to have a look at the 'Back of the Net' vlog. One of the better ones I've seen and pretty complimentary about us.

The days when Bournemouth should be beating Aston Villa never began. The days when they did beat us are to our eternal shame.

It's bloody impressive however you want to look at it.

Except the goal difference, but I think we all know the defence needs sorting.

Don't forget though that we conceded 11 in 3 games where things just fell apart a bit. Our defensive record either side of that little spell has been good under Emery, 8 in 11, it's why the Leicester result in particular was so strange.

Everything that could go wrong in that game, did go wrong.

Think they had 4 shots on target and scored 4 times. They did the same at Wolves earlier in the season. I watched them against Southampton the other week and it was like an Emile Heskey masterclass, they were finding new and inventive ways to fuck up clear cut chances, the twats.

Pretty much every player dropped bollox to gift them the goals. Kamara was at fault for two which was the big shock.
