A win today plus a win against Chelsea next game with Fulham losing their next game to Newton Heath will see us in 9th. Piece of piss!

About time we beat our local club. Don't want  the Cherries to go down as an easy away game for us. Expect to see a few of them on our way up. Piss poor that they didn't sell out. UTV

As a 100% travelling away fan I desperately want them to go down. They shouldn't be in the Premier League with a ground the size of Walsall and it wouldn't be allowed if they had stayed up instead of yo yoing.

I'm not sure the ground size matters. They got promoted on merit.

Anyway, I'll go for a 2-0 win. Watkins and  Buendia.

I see Paul McGrath's in Birmingham this weekend so I wonder if he's over for the game.

Bournemouth earned their place in the Premier League and the ground size has nothing to do with it.

Why wouldn't it be allowed?

They’ve been good in the last couple of games. This could be potentially tricky - hopefully we put in a strong display.

On Bournemouth recent form well I have a developed theory, they had to step up their game and appreciate the opportunities to play against Arsenal and Liverpool, and they were able to deliver unexpected performances and outcomes. They won't be able to work at their best because they will be worn out. Liverpool had their sights set on Madrid, so they had an early start at the other end of the nation.

With a 3 p.m. kickoff at the magnificent Villa Park and Unai demanding a performance and implementation of his plan, there is really only one possible outcome.
Between Emery and their inexperienced manager, I believe there can be only one winner today. By theory the experienced manager at a regular kick off time at home will comfortably win.
I care more about performance than the final result
Although I believe there is a chance for five goals and two to three from Watkins.

I'm hoping we overcome the curse of Rob Jones, as Villa never ever have won a Premier League match when he is the referee.
But it's the performance that is most of interest to me

Up The Villa!

As usual I have no idea what the score will be today but I’m pretty certain that the game will be dire, given our home form.

Hi Footy-Vill, the last 10 times we have played a newly promoted team we have only won twice!! Pathetic.

I trust Unai will set this right. Today, I would settle for 3 points regardless of the performance.
