Not long back in Brum. Went back to a pub called St Peppers after the match and had a great time. The match wasn't bad either.

McGinn, Watkins brilliant. Buendia made the difference when he came on.

In Everton Dyche has a slightly better version of his old Burnley team.

Wing backs and wingers, big burly centre defenders and midfield but lacks the big bruisers up top.

I thought we were very mixed first half, but we stayed the course a la playing out from the back and trying not to play the long ball.

Good game for Tyrone, Kamara and Dougie, special mention to Ollie and Emi 2.

I thought that Konsa was poor today, so can only hope that when Carlos is fit he and Tyrone strike up a good partnership.

We have a decent spine of a team, but hope the summer brings some real class to help us push for top 8.

Re: Konsa. Many posters (i.e. Bronte and I) have pointed out that we were getting rinsed down our right flank in the first half. That Mack Neal chappy sure made hay while the sun shone and their gravel voiced manager waxed lyrical about him.

Cashy ain't into crosses at either end(maybe he's he's one of those vampire dudes)  and Konsa was getting dragged wide (you hate to see it).

Still and all, don't think Konsa will be with us next season.

Watching MOTD and Emi Martinez saved us several times, & so did Mings off the line.
What a great match, all before the penalty.

Fab stuff, well done Ollie!

Mings’ pass to Kamara, to McGinn and to Buendia for the goal was a lovely move.

I thought our penalty was sift as, like Micah, I thought the Everton player had touched the ball. The MOTD analysis showed he didn't, so correct decision.

I don't know how MOTD edited it but from watching the whole match on a dodgy stream I can only remember one proper save from Emi, the header in the first half.

I've read reports suggesting they were a little unlucky. Bollocks, they huffed and puffed but there was a gulf in class, only one team could play properly.

I thought it would be 100% overturned until they showed the side on view. He didn't touch it at  all.

Just back. Long day, but who cares with another away win. Emery made the right changes at the right time to change a draw into a win. Class manager at last. UTV

I said to our kid just before kick I reckon we'd play it in two parts, stay tight and then make changes to open the game up later on. He's the bollocks, let him run everything, make him our Wenger.

I genuinely Corr remember the other two. Which probably says everything about my attention span.

Working all day so followed the game by the match thread. Fabulous result if not so fabulous performance. If this result helps relegate them then so much the better.
